Parent-friendly.com is the site for finding and sharing information about places that are 'parent friendly'.

We recognise that having babies or children in your life doesn't necessarily mean that you want to spend all your time in 'child-friendly' or 'family-friendly' venues... sometimes you want to socialise with your adult friends as well!

A place that is 'parent-friendly' is the kind of place you can visit with your friends, yet if you or your friends happen to have children with you, can support you with appropriate facilities and the minimum of fuss.

Good examples of 'parent-friendly' establishments are:

• Your local swimming pool or sports centre that provides creche facilities so you can swim alone or with friends

• A shopping centre that provides good nappy changing facilities and separate toilets for parents with children

• A bar that serves great food and drinks and also has comfortable facilities for breast-feeding, provides high chairs and has staff that like children
