Fun interactive day out for all

4

We took my 3yr old for his birthday along with a 5yr and 9yr and willing adult and we all had a great day. The Cafe has seats made up from old tube trains and a great selection of kid friendly meals such as Fish Finger sandwiches and big meals sized down. The exhibits are almost completely interactive with a whole array of tube trains, buses and horse drawn carriages to climb aboard. The kids just loved being able to jump on stuff while we adults spent a lot of time saying 'wow I remember when they were like this'! The gift shop was excellent with a sizable range of pocket money priced stuff up to really nice bags also made from old tube seat material. While at a tenner not the cheapest museum the kids were free, and being slap bang in the middle of Covent Garden it was a compleat day out. The whole place is not so big that you get too tired to see everything but with enough to keep us all amused. The Time Capsule lift was a definite highlight. All in all a good day out and a popular birthday treat.
